If you want to take a romantic getaway but don't want to go to far, or if you just want some piece of mind for a day Catalina Island is the spot for you. One of Californias great landmarks, Catalina Island would be a great getaway for a day or even a weekend. It's just far enough to not be bothered with the same folks you would on your daily. Round trip for one person would run you about 67 dollars for adults, and 51 dollars for kids. But I'll let you check out the run down.
